we three kings

Hello and welcome back to another TTCRD anything goes challenge. This week our sponsor is M.Medel Illustrations. The prize for this week is 3 digi images from the shop.

The images are fun and quirky but I must say that I enjoy colouring them in. I chose an image called The Three Wise Men. I used promarkers here and Sakura pens for the jewels and gold. I also used a white pen for the stars and a blender pen for the more faded ones.

The star of wonder is cut out of glitter card and is from a new Tim Holtz set. So now it's your turn to join us in the weekly challenge. Happy crafting, see you on the other side, Theresa xx.

fancy a brew?

Hello there my crafty friends and welcome to another TTCRD anything goes challenge. This week our sponsor is Pattie's creations.
She is offering 3 images from her shop as a prize.

I chose to work with a non-Christmassy image for a change and chose a vintage tea cup to work with. You can find this image here.

I printed it on Sheena stamping card and coloured it in using promarkers. I added gold foil around the rim of both cup and saucer using a toner tex pen.
I then die cut it with a  circle die and used Tim Holtz doilies die cuts underneath. I stamped the base card with Tim Holtz doilies using tumbled glass and broken china distress oxides. The sentiment stamp is from a set by Sheena Douglass.

And there you have my inspiration for this week. Please visit TTCRD for more inspiration from the team and happy crafting, Theresa xx.

Victorian Winter Princess

Hello my friends and welcome back to another TTCRD anything goes challenge. This week our sponsor is Lacy Sunshine and she is offering 3 digi stamps from her store to the lucky winner.

I chose to work with a cute image called  Victorian Winter Princess Melancoly Moppet. This is not the usual image that I tend to work with but it was fun colouring in and assembling this card. I used polychromos Faber Castell pencils this time and added some sparkle with a Sakura pen and dimension with opal white liquid pearls.
The sentiment and background dies are both by Sue Wilson. So I hope I managed to whet your appetite for joining us in this week's challenge. Remember anything goes, hugs Theresa xx.

Nativity

Hello there. I have managed to drop in for a quick post once again. It is time for another TTCRD anything goes challenge. This week we are sponsored by Ike's Art.

I chose to work with an image called Nativity that you can find here under the Christmas section.
I coloured the image with spectrum noir illustrator pens and used a white gel pen for highlights and a clear sparkle pen.
The frame is from some cardstock. I went around the brown cut edge with a toner tex foil pen and once dry I used blue foil. I tried to keep the frame simple as the image is very busy.

So please come and join us over at TTCRD and remember that anything goes. See you on the other side, hugs, Theresa xx.

Joy to the world

I know it has been a long time since I last posted. Time seems to be running away from me. It is time for another TTCRD anything goes challenge and this week we are sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps. The lucky winner will get a $12 voucher to the store!

The image taht I worked with is called Snowfriends and you can find it here.

I really enjoyed working with this little guy and coloured him in with spectrum noir illustrator pens. I added shimmer with Stickles glitter glue and foil. For some added dimension I used glossy accents and then finished off with a Tim Holtz stamp. So quick and easy.
And now it is over to you. Remember anything goes. see you on the other side, Theresa xx.

Can't remember

Hello there my friends. Today's card is an unusual one for me. I shy away from using any rude words on my cards but I couldn't resist this image. As soon as I saw it I could see my friend and so I decided to work with it.

This is my inspiration for this weeks TTCRD anything goes challenge. Our sponsor this week is Bugaboo Stamps.

The lucky winner gets a $12 voucher to spend in the store.

My image can be found here. In actual fact it is a very simple card. I printed it on Sheena stamping card and coloured it in with spectrum noir illustrator pens.  I then cut out the image with sizzix dies and also the matting layers.

As for finishing touches, I added gold craft candy where the full stops were situated. I used gold sakura pen touch on the cup and added glossy accents to the lenses on her glasses

So now it is over to you. Remeber anything goes. See you on the other side, hugs Theresa xx.

Silent night

Hello crafty friends. It is time for another TTCRD anything goes challenge. This week we have 2 sponsors, Rick St Dennis and Sparkle 'n Sprinkle.

The first one is offering 2 images as a prize whereas the latter are offering a $15 voucher to their shop.
My card today is from Rick St Dennis and the image is called Silent night.

I printed it twice and coloured in one image using spectrum noir illustrator pens. For the second image I only coloured in the holly and berries and cut out the image to form an arch. I then stamped some bricks using a Visible image stamp.

I also used my Faber Castell polychromos to add more definition to the picture and then finished it off with a clear sparkle pen and a versamark pen and clear embossing powder on berries.

I have to confess that I never managed to finish the second card. And now my first Christmas card is done!!!
So now it is over to you, remember that anything goes; hugs Theresa xx.

Another brew.

Hello, my friends. It is the start of another TTCRD anything goes challenge. And on offer today I have a different brew, this time my favourite and that is coffee.

Our sponsor this week is Drawn by Krista. She is offering 3 images from her shop as a prize.

I chose to work with one of her sayings called Coffee Lovers saying. I used it to make a background with it and then printed off a larger one to make a focal point. The coffee cup comes from a set of stamps that came with a magazine. I confess I bought the magazine for the set of stamps as I do love coffee.

The coffee bean paper is from DCWV and some inking and pearls finished it off. it also boasts a couple of real coffee stains courtesy of my youngest but I did not remake it as I decided it added character to the card. Anyway, this has gone to one of my brothers, whilst the earlier coffee card I made with the same saying went to his twin. They celebrate their birthday on Thursday.
So now it is over to you, see you on the other side; Theresa xx.

time for tea

Hello my friends. It is time for another TTCRD challenge. Time is going so quickly, that I am finding it very difficult to keep up.

Our sponsor for this week is DL.ART.

The prize is $10 voucher to either store.

We could choose what we wanted to do for this week so I chose to work with some transfers I had and some foils. They are both from Crafter's Companion. I then matched them up with G45 paper from the botanical tea range. You can see that I used the negative foil to put an image on the back of the card.

The die cut flowers and foliage are also from Crafter's Companion. Twine and pearls are from my stash. I also used gold mirri card, chestnut brown card and ivory card. And taht is my offer for this week.

Please join us for another TTCRD anything goes challenge. See you on the other side, Theresa xx

Tuesday 15 May 2018

super birthday

So being Tuesday it is time for another TTCRD anything goes challenge.

This week our sponsor is Dr Digi's House of Stamps. The prize is 2 digis from the shop.

I chose to work with Comic sentiments. I chose this sentiment as I wanted to try this technique I had watched on Hochanda. I coloured in spectrum noir illustrator pens and then glazed over with Sakura gel pens. For the background, I just used 5 different shades of blue and used dots from the sentiment out. I went further out with the lighter ones and kept the darker ones in the centre.
So now it is over to you. See you on the other side, Theresa xx.

This is the latest card that I had as inspiration for the TTCRD anything goes challenge. It was for last Tuesday but I have become so disorganised that I never post anything on time.

Anyway the image is from Polkadoodles and he is called Rocco. I thought he looked sweet and would make a good boy's card for the several party invites that my little one gets.
He is coloured in with spectrum noir illustrator pens as is the background. For the clouds, I used the blender pen to remove colour.
So go take a look at the magazine. it is full of inspiration, step by step tutorials and also a video tutorial. Theresa xx

30 today

Hello my friends. you must be wondering what happened to me. I have been here but haven't had time to update my blog. Today I have a quick post for you to remind you that it is time for another TTCRD anything goes challenge.

This week our sponsor is My Favorite Things with a $25.00 store voucher

We could use whatever we wanted for this challenge. So I started with a piece of Sheena stamping card and I inked it with distress oxides: evergreen bough, peacock feathers, mermaid lagoon and salty ocean. I then flicked water over it and dried it with kitchen roll after a few seconds.
The rest are die cuts. The butterfly flourish is a sizzix die, the 30 and today are Tim Holtz thinlet dies and the 'celebrate' is a Crafter's companion die. The card is white Centura pearl and the shadow is in a navy blue card.
So that was a quick card to make but looks very effective.

So now it is over to you to come and join us and remember that the theme is always anything goes. See you on the other side, Theresa xx
